You Capture. Emotion

When I saw that the challenge for this week was emotion I immediately wanted to capture my almost 3 year old having a meltdown and throwing a tantrum. Which has been happening quite frequently at our house as of late.

But every time we are in the midst of an all out meltdown I forget to take a picture. I guess that is the farthest thing from my mind at the time! Maybe I will get one sometime today and add it?! But hopefully there won't be any tantrums today....Yeah....right.

Here is a picture of my oldest son, Brock. We went to the zoo a couple of weeks ago (I guess I cheated because it was in my archives) and I wanted to ride the sky glider. He was not in the mood and thought that it looked scary. We had to bribe him with riding the train afterward. He reluctantly agreed and had a blast. This picture shows his emotions of excitement, happiness and pride of his accomplishment. I think that we will be riding the sky glider every time we go to the zoo from here on out.

Be sure to check out Beth's site for everyone's You Caputure shots!

My first thought for mine was a meltdown of my three year old granddaughter. Great minds must think alike. We both went with happy. Your captures are adorable.

I'm glad you were able to convince him to go. He does look quite happy for going.

meltdowns are fun to capture, but i'm the same way...too occupied to whip out the camera to capture it.

Love his cute little face in this picture!

In the midst of a meltdown, the only thing on your mind is "How soon will this be over?"

Great, great picture - I hope you framed it!
